Rachel + Simon : Engagement Session

In actual fact these guys have been engaged for a while, in fact they're getting married this Saturday!! -It's going to be fabulous by the sounds of it and I can't wait to share the wedding pictures in a few weeks time :)

We took a trip out last Sunday to have a nosy around the wedding venue, Hoghton Tower, and to get some ideas for the day, so whilst we were out we popped over to Rivington Pike to have a little pre-wedding photo shoot.

Rachel and Simon are very photogenic so I can't wait to see what the wedding brings! Here's what we got up to as we wandered around Rivington Hall & the forests....

I love autumn! So many bright colours :)

Thanks for a fun afternoon guys, bring on the wedding!! xx

Archie

This little guy is Archie, he is 4 months old and belongs to my cousin Rachel, so technically he's my cousin once removed - but this sounds very complicated so we're known as Auntie Emma and Uncle Dave :)

Last Sunday we took the opportunity to have a little photo shoot whilst we could, and before he grows any more and we've missed it! He has the most amazing big eyes and the cheekiest smiley face, as you'll see, and I'm sure there'll be plenty more photos of him as he grows up.....

Isn't he perfect?!

Isabelle + Alasdair @ The Punchbowl Inn

I'd say Isabelle and Alasdair's day has to be the most relaxed wedding I've ever been to! They both hate having their picture taken and so opted for no formal shots, just completely natural photos, which was great for me as I could really concentrate on capturing the reactions of all the guests as they chatted and mingled!

The day was held at The Punchbowl Inn at Crossthwaite, which is a gorgeous little venue with stunning views over the valleys of the Lake District. It provided the perfect backdrop for such a chilled out and lovely wedding, with a little bit of sunshine thrown in :)

Isabelle looked stunning!...

We went for a stroll down the path....

Time for dinner...

And finally, after much teasing from his Scottish family, Alasdair donned his kilt and they took to the floor...

Such a brilliant & fun wedding, and a great weekend in the Lakes :)

All the images are now in Isabelle + Alasdair's gallery on the main website, for guests to view and buy prints!
