A recent trip to France with the Bohemia Collective

Thought I'd share a few images from my recent trip to France on the first ever Bohemia Gathering!

I spotted that the Bohemia Collective were planning a gathering a few months ago, and thought it sounded perfect.. 'A never seen before experience for female film photographers who simply long for MORE. More down to earth. More sharing. More creativity. More grounding. More keeping it real. More love. More gut feeling. More dreaming...'

It was such a refreshing and inspiring trip, just what I'd been looking for to brush up on my film photography and get me into gear. Our mentors, Isabelle Hesselberg (of 2 Brides Photography) and Siegrid Cain, shared so openly about themselves and their work, giving us so much to come home with.

Along with Isabelle and Siegrid I also met seven other amazing ladies from across the world, all on similar journeys with their photography, and we spent four days learning, sharing, eating, drinking and laughing! Our hosts, Lynn and Olivier at Aux Jardins des Thevenets, were completely perfect and their home is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've ever been.

I would recommend both the Bohemia Gatherings and Aux Jardins des Thevenets to anyone. It was a truly brilliant experience! Here's some of the images I captured whilst I was there, all shot on film...

Thanks too to UK Film Lab for a brilliant job as always :)

Zoe and Luke's Easter Wedding at Adlington Hall and Hunting Lodge

I've been a little behind on blogging lately with having so many weddings and shoots to keep me busy, but am looking forward to filling you all in on so many beautiful couples and fabulous weddings. The first of which are Zoe and Luke, who got married at Adlington Hall and Hunting Lodge on Good Friday. Their day was completely perfect! Zoe looked radiant in her Heritage Bridal gown from LOVE bridal Boutique, helped along by the very talented hair and make-up artist Jodie A Smith. They had a hint of a superhero theme and also an Easter egg hunt around the maze!... and it was all topped off with glorious sunshine ....

Such a brilliant and beautiful day!!

I shot Zoe and Luke's wedding on a mixture of digital and film... so thanks go to UK Film Lab for developing and scanning.
