{BRIDAL SHOOT} Jon and Jane's 'Trash the Dress' style Photoshoot

Last month I headed down to North Wales to take part in another fun Bridal Shoot, you may remember the last one we did near Lancaster.. well if not it's here. This time there were 4 photographers taking part; myself, Jonathan Yearsley, Anurag Sharma and Katy Lunsford.. and we had my gorgeous friends Jon and Jane to model for us :)

We had been planning it for weeks.. months even.. and when it came to the day of the shoot the heavens opened.. and it didn't stop raining all day! The original plan was to use Talacre Beach as our location, but when we turned up it literally wasn't fit to step out of the car. We were pretty gutted :(

Luckily Jonty knew of a local place where we could go to gather our thoughts and hopefully get a few shots, so off we headed. The people at Nant Hall were lovely and very accomodating, and we ended up shooting there all morning! When we'd got the shots we needed, and had a spot of Lunch, we all decided that since we'd come so far it would be a shame not to use the beach, and so decided to just go for it! We donned waterproofs, wellies and brollies and braved the cold rain and gale force winds - all in the name of art. Jon and Jane were completely up for it and were absolute troopers! Poor Jane's dress got completely drenched, and Jon ended up with dye all over his hands and white shirt... but I think you'll agree when you see the pictures - it was all worth it.

Thanks to Jonty for organising, to the others who took part, and most of all to Jon and Jane .. it was so good to catch up again :)

Here's some highlights....

And a few from Talacre Beach...

I had ALOT of fun on this shoot, it was totally worth getting soaked!

Trash the Dress/Cherish the Dress shoots are a fab idea to get another days use out of your wedding gown, they don't all have to be as extreme as this - but if you have a crazy idea i'd love to hear about it..get in touch!
